Olympic Legacy

Belle played a key role in championing the one million sq ft Olympic Media & Broadcast Centre as a major digital and creative industries employment hub.

Kay spent 5 years on the project, leading the Broadcast Centre Legacy Group with the Olympic Park Legacy Company and Hackney Council. Belle’s vision is now being taken forward by Here East (formerly iCity) a joint venture between Delancy and Infinity SDC. BT Sport is an anchor tenant.

In addition Kay was able to build on her long-standing interest in mentoring and training young people in the media industry by helping The East London Business Alliance (ELBA) to link with the Olympic Broadcast Service’s Training Programme and was an adviser to Skillset on their 2012 Media Legacy Programme.
