We are delighted to announce a reprint of Hurricane Hutch last month. The new stock has come just in time for Christmas. It’s a perfect present and a ‘must have’ for any Clyde Steamer enthusiasts, or indeed for people just interested in books on West Scotland.

2014/15 marked the 50th Anniversary of Glasgow University Student Television (GUST) so it was perhaps also fitting that one of our Alumni, Steven Moffat (Press Gang, Coupling, Dr Who, Sherlock ) was awarded the OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Great to hear that TechCityinsider Network has announced that there are now 100 women in its TCi Network and interesting to hear that whilst women are estimated to only make up 17% of the Tech workforce in London they account for 33% of the list.

The great thing about Poppins is that it throws up all sorts of memories, connections and links. Until today I would have struggled to find a connection between a famous Greenock labour dispute in the 80’s, an aspiring film-maker’s graduation animation and TV’s Carol Smillie’s new business venture… but today we found one – Clothing!
