Women in Tech

Great to hear that TechCityinsider Network has announced that there are now 100 women in its TCi Network and interesting to hear that whilst women are estimated to only make up 17% of the Tech workforce in London they account for 33% of the list.

Why is this?
Perhaps it’s that networking is something that women are instinctively better at! Whatever the reason it’s certainly important to recognize that soft skills are very important in helping any business grow. That said, I wonder how quickly the underlying figure of 17% women in the tech workforce is going to grow.
