Captain Robin Hutchison (1933 – 2018)

We are sad to report the death of Kay’s father, Captain Robin Hutchison.

Robin was one of the best known, most experienced and popular Clyde Captains.

He sailed on the river for over 40 years and was Captain of ships as varied as Waverley, Queen Mary II, Maid of Argyll, Jupiter, Caledonian Isles and Hebridean Princess.

Captain Bobo Makes a Splash!

Tigeropolis a ‘roaring success’ at Foyles, Bristol

We had great fun roaring on the crowd at Foyles Cabot Square Bristol yesterday. A crowd of over 20 keen young explorers and their parents heard Richard highlight some fun facts about tigers. He explained why he decided to write the fun children’s adventure book and why it’s important to help these magnificent creatures thrive in the wild.

Tigeropolis – The Grand Opening – Waterstones Notting Hill Gate, London

A lively group of over 60 gathered to hear the story behind the latest book, to enjoy more of Matt’s delightful illustrations – and also learn more about what’s happening to the tigers in India in real-life.

Tigeropolis – Now Published!

The first book in the Tigeropolis series is now available, others in the series will be due out in March and September 2016.

It’s a fun read for children aged 8-10 and tells the quirky story of how a family of vegetarian tigers ‘pulls out all the stops’ to save their beloved forest (Tigeropolis) from the developers.
