We are proud to be supporting Gemma Trim on her Bike4Tigers challenge – Gemma is a most valuable member of our team, supporting many aspects of our social media presence. She will be biking an impressive 110 kms through India’s forests and jets off to India on the 17th.
There will be wonderful sights en route though we expect it will be a tough ride on some of those forest roads – but well worth the effort to support tigers. Gemma is joining the likes of Stanley Johnson, Environmentalist, Writer, Star of I’m A Celebrity Get me Out of here – and of course long-time Tigeropolis fan. Gemma is also taking Bittu along – his first time on a bike – and they will be sending regular Facebook updates on their progress.
The Bike4Tigers challenge is being organised by the Nature Stewardship Alliance (NSA). We’ve been strong supporters of their TOFT campaign throughout its 14 years. In fact Richard was inspired to write the Tigeropolis series as a result of his trip with TOFT founder Julian Matthews a few years ago. They covered thousands of miles visiting tiger reserves across northern India.
