The latest in our Adventures of Captain Bobo series: London is published simultaneously in English and Gaelic (Lunnainn). This time a sight-seeing tour of London turns into something quite unexpected.
London is the third Captain Bobo book. The stories are inspired by the Waverley, the world’s last ‘ocean going’ paddle steamer. In London, after a day’s sightseeing Captain Bobo and the crew discover Tower Bridge won’t open and need to find a solution fast.
The Captain Bobo stories have also been adapted for radio. The incomparable John Sessions narrated – you can hear the stories on Cloud Aloud and other streaming platforms.
The series is also available in Gaelic. So, thanks to Gillebride MacMillan for another wonderful Gaelic translation, and to the Gaelic Books Council for again supporting the publication.
Gillebride also narrates a Gaelic audio version of all 10 stories – Sgeulachdan a’ Chaiptein Bobo, it’s also on Cloud Aloud, and a CD version is available from our online bookshop, or from the Gaelic Books Council shop.
